Need a fragrance free option!
When I was a teenager I used to work in a little boutique in a lake town that sold "luxury" skincare and makeup products. Every time an older woman would come in with flawless skin she would be there to purchase Estée Lauder's skincare. Many of these women I thought were in their 50's or 60's then they would go on to tell me that they were actually in their 80's and 90s. The overnight serum and Swiss extract moisturizer were both staples in these women's routine. When I turned 30 this year I remembered those days working at the lake boutique selling Estée Lauder to those women with flawless skin and asked myself what I was doing not using Estée Lauder myself?! Of course I purchased the Swiss Extract moisturizer and the formula is heavenly on my dry skin. I completely understand why so many people love it, BUT oh my the smell is like pouring Red Door all over your face. It's a bit intense for me, but I love the formula so much I'm going to keep using it. However, it's 2025 and I would love to see a fragrance free option for Estée Lauder's products. You would really open your target market to younger women if you provided a non-perfumed option for your products. I also wanted to add that this is an honest review as I purchased this myself and this was NOT a free product.

Excellent Moisturizer!
I bought this on Sunday and have used it day and night ever since…I had oily skin all of my life. I mean oily. Now I am entering menopause and my skin (for me) is very dry. I use a lot of nice creams including Estée Lauder, Chanel, Sisley and Lancôme. Love them all, but I haven’t been using any of those since I purchased this. My mother used it for decades long ago. Now I know why she had perfect skin aside from her Great genetics. It’s a very thin lotion but it’s rich enough and silky smooth at the same time. I’m sensitive to perfume and this has a very herbal sent, but it doesn’t affect me. I highly recommend this to all.
A Moisturizer to Count On
I have used this Estee Lauder moisturizer for years and just love it. It is consistently gentle and absorbs quickly. Leaves my skin super soft.

They gave me a product that was produced in 2021. I generally want my skincare products within 2 years of production. I immediately returned it.
New to the product.
So, I thought I was getting a facial moisturizer. I’m a simple girl, so is my skincare routine. I usually use cliniques dramatically different moisturizer, but Estée Lauder had a free gift with purchase. There is no flip-top cap or pump, can’t squeeze the bottle. So I pour it, very carefully because it’s runny, into my hand and then apply to neck and chin as I normally would do with a facial moisturizer. It has a very familiar scent. Kinda pleasant, I suppose. It is recommended to use this after using a repair serum. I usually just wash my face, pat dry and apply moisturizer and be done. I’ll be 58 on Monday and I love the skin I’m in. I’ve only been using this product for a week now. It seems to work well. Not sure it’s worth the price, but I got the free gift, lol, because I’m thrifty. I only buy when a free gift is offered. Next time Estée Lauder has a free gift with purchase, I’m going to stick to perfume. Even though they discontinued my favorite, white linen BREEZE.

This I have been using for last 40 years . After taking shower. or bath I rub few drops and than I donot need any mostrizer my skin stays moisturized all day long in winter when the weather dries your skin . I always buy right away when I am on my last drop.

Stands the test of time!
This Estee Lauder product is wonderful! It's one of the first beauty lotions produced by the company and it's stood the test of time and gained cult status among its fans. It's simply and nice hydrating lotion that leaves your skins feeling fresh. It is thinner like a lotion, not at all thick like a cream. I enjoy the lotion's botanical scent, but if scents aren't your thing, it does dissipate in a few minutes. I was excited my local Macy's had a couple of bottles in the store (not all department stores stock them).
